We were divided into groups and crafted out the plan for ICO project. Each group was named after digital assets as follow:

- Stressful Brainstorm
We had a brainstrom session with our friends in the group regarding the background of the project, business model, and some key points to put in a whitepaper, then prepared the pitch deck.
- Pitch Deck & Key Discussion
We prepared:
Project background: outline, ideas of how we can apply blockchain to solve the problem.
Business model: identify our target market, sizing& potential growth , SWOT value proposition, stake holders.
The detail of token distribution: name, type of token(e.g utility or security token), number &price of token, soft cap, hard cap, percentage of distribution to private or public.
The percentage of fund allocation: usage of fund into the key areas e.g. marketing, business development, research development, technology development, operational expense, team expansion and legal & compliance, etc.

After that we joined the dinner party, with today’s dinner talk under the topic of “ICO Marketing,” presented by K. Opal- Ms. Nintita Loetruangsuphakun – Co-Founder of ICORA & Board Member of Thai Fintech Association
- ICO marketing
She explained that marketing is regarded as one of the most essential key to success factors of ICO. It covers the present on ICO website, ICO listing, Bounty Program, Social Media, ICO video, Community Management and Exchange listing
- ICO Website
Perfectly designed website includes nice look & feel and functional ICO web design, optimization (power &performance), ICO countdown, secure, Post-ICO & long term plan and detail of projects & token, developer team, white paper, signup form, etc.
Example of good ICO websites: ICON, BOLT, NEX, CASPER ICO websites
- ICO Listing
In order to increase the exposure of ICO to the community and generate direct traffic to the ICO website, we can join the ICO Listing website. Some websites are free and others have certain charges. If outsourcing to an agency, the cost is in the range of USD 30,000-50,000. The most expensive one is Coin Telegraph.
The top ICO Listing websites are Coin Telegraph, ICO Bench, Coin Gecko, ICO Rating and ICO Picker
- ICO Video
ICO Video may include Video Synopsis of project overview, token usage and roadmap for example Video of Nucleus Vision
- Bounty Program:
Bounty Programs (ICO)* are incentives offered to participants for various activities associated with ICO, ranging from investors to ICO promoters and developers.
1st stage – pre-ICO: Target prospective investors.
Bounty rewards are offered to social media influencers, blog writers and bitcoin talk Signature Bounty marketers.
2nd stage – post-ICO : Focus at tuning the released blockchain.
Bounty rewards are offered to (1) translators (who help ensure a global reach for the blockchain by translating documents associated with development and marketing), and (2) bug bounty (the coders who test &detect flaws in blockchain)

The platform used for ICO bounty programs includes Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. The reward earned depends on the engagement levels generated by such posts informed by number of retweets, likes, shares, views, and comments.
- Airdrop:
Airdrop is a procedure of distributing tokens to existing holders to encourage them to hold the token. It can also be given to the community in order to create awareness about ICO or used for a fun event.
- Community Influencer:
Community Influencer becomes a vital part in ICO promotion, especially the influencer with a large number of followers. It’s like the stamp on the ICO.
The top influencers are such as Ian Bolina (a cryptocurrency investor, serial entrepreneur and film maker) and Arcane Bear.com (company relating to blockchain/ Bitcoin/ Digital Assets)
- Channels to communicate to the public:
Telegram; cloud-based instant messaging. Telegram has rapidly found as home for cryptocurrency developers, traders and entrepreneurs because of the privacy, multi-platform availability, etc.
Reddit; an American social news aggregation, web content rating and discussion website.
- Roadshow&Event:
Top Events are such as Consensus 2018 in New York, Dubai International Blockchain Summit, Blockchain Conference DC, Token Summit, London Fintech Week, etc.
- Exchange Listing Fee:
The fee depends on the level of Tier. The fee estimation are as follow:
Tier 1: Binance, Bitfinex, Bittrex (USD 7 figures)
Tier 2: Huobi, Kraken, Kucoin, Okex, Quoine (USD 6 figures)
Tier 3: Hitbtc (USD30,000)
